Knitters, Bikers, Walkers, Golfers- Invent Your Small Group!

Small Groups at First Church have recently included varieties of spiritual growth opportunities, but beginning in the February 2010 term we're expanding the definition of "Small Group" to include fellowship and recreational groups, as well. Here are some examples:

• Volleyball Group - This small group will be our Volleyball Team and will play other United Methodist volleyball teams. Each session will begin with prayer and the focus will be fellowship and fun!
• Pastors' Walking Group - Rev. Sandy will lead a Saturday morning 5-mile walk each week. It'll be early in the day and will conclude with coffee and fellowship.

So what's your group? Now's your chance to invite people into the activities you enjoy. How about . . . . Knitting? Biking? Golfing? Reading? Bowling?
